Nov 14, 1949 Benjamin C. landing 200,000 lbs redfish.

Bobby Ryan found this in his basement.  The Benjamin C was our Grandfather Captain Joe Ciaramitaro’s boat and it was named after our Great Grandafther Benny Curcuru.

  1. Beautiful…………………I have a ton of those old newspaper clippings………………..hundreds of them……………..

What a sad state of affairs the fisheries are in after spending hundreds of millions of dollars on fishery management policies that have yielded few dividends……..

There’s more cars in our parking lot here at NOAA than on the entire Gloucester waterfront. That speaks volumes……………..

    Thanks for sharing Joey!!
